A round-up of a fantastic year & looking forward to 2017

Colin Currie and Sam Walton take a look back at 2016, and at what’s to come in 2017.

“2016 was the year in which the group really consolidated their work on Music for 18 Musicians. We played the piece variously, at our London home of the Southbank Centre, in the stunning Laurenskerk in Rotterdam, and in the presence of the composer for his 80th birthday celebrations. Very excitingly, we also had the recording sessions for our very own Quartet, in London’s famous Air Lyndhurst studios. This was incredibly exciting and we are now looking onward keenly to the release next year – stay tuned!!” – Colin Currie

“2016 has been another exciting year for the group. After more sell-out performances of Music for 18 Musicians in London and Rotterdam, the group made a successful debut at the Macau festival and performed at the Cambridge festival. The group have also been in the studio recording Quartet. Keep posted for future release announcements!” – Sam Walton
