The Colin Currie Group perform Steve Reich Music for Pieces of Wood and Part 1 of Drumming at Forum am Schlosspark Ludwigsburg on 22 June. The concert opens with Colin Currie and the Orchester der Ludwigsburg Schlossfestspiele presenting Kalevi Aho’s Sieidi under the baton of Pietari Inkinen, followed by Beethoven’s Symphony No.5.

Drumming was the debut release on Colin Currie Records earlier this year and has been greeted by widespread critical acclaim, selected as Editor’s Choice by Gramophone in April:
