The Edinburgh International Festival have announced their line-up for 2019 which features a performance by Colin Currie Group of Sofia Gubaidulina’s concerto for percussion quintet and orchestra, Glorious Percussion.

They will be joined by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and conductor Thomas Dausgaard for the performance on 8 August in Edinburgh’s Usher Hall.

The concert will be broadcast on BBC Radio 3 at a future date.
