Colin returns to London’s Southbank Centre where he continues his long-standing programme of events as Artist-in-Association. In a major development for his ensemble, the Colin Currie Group will present an evening of music by Iannis Xenakis to celebrate the composer’s centenary of birth. In artistic partnership with Xenakis specialists the JACK Quartet, the concert will culminate in a performance of the epic ‘Pléïades’ for percussion sextet. Colin will also perform ‘Psappha’ for solo percussion to open the event, the first time in his career performing this work live in concert.

The concert will take place on Saturday 8th October, at the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
